Dr. Emily Hecker, DC, CNC

Dr. Emily is a Logan College of Chiropractic graduate and jack of all trades. She has been with Wellness Alternatives for the past 5 years working in different facets of the office. She has experience treating patients from newborn to 95 years old and enjoys seeing everyone in between. Her goal is to build and nurture a family practice where whole families come in for wellness check-ups featuring chiropractic, nutritional, and functional medicine care.

Her story.
"My passion for Chiropractic care started when my aviation career required me to work at a desk job, leading to a chronic back pain. After visiting a chiropractor, I was amazed at how a medically-trained doctor was able to evaluate my body and tell me where I was hurting! After a few adjustments, I was pain-free and never needed pain killers to manage my chronic back pain. After completing my Masters of Business Administration degree I decided to dedicate my life to helping people in the most natural way possible by enrolling at Logan College of Chiropractic.

Being a private pilot and having a degree in Meteorology, I discovered the human body seemed similar to operating an aircraft in a thunderstorm, where everything has to be in balance to function perfectly.

Chiropractic care has many wonderful applications for health. However, health care is changing and Functional Medicine/ Endocrinology is the missing link for many of today's ongoing health issues. Not only can I help those who have physical and structural issues but I can help prevent those chronic health conditions from becoming an out-of-control disease. I am also able to offer a plan of care for many who are diagnosed with a chronic disease but have not been offered a way to reverse the process."
