LEAP – Mediator Release Test
Is your food making you sick? Have you tried the IgA and IgG food sensitivity tests? Did they come back blank? Did you follow their recommendations? The immune system does not need Antibodies to cause an immune response to food. The MRT test avoids that problem.
Are you suffering from a stubborn health problem that won’t go away no matter what you try? Or perhaps the supplements, medications or treatments you are using are not actually getting to the root cause of your illness.

Introducing LEAP – Mediator Release Test
The first thing a food sensitivity sufferer needs to do is identify their triggers food and food chemicals. In the past, this has been easier said than done for many reasons:
- Food sensitivity reaction may be delayed by hours or even days after ingestion. Would you suspect the headache you have today was caused by the food you ate two days ago?
- Microbes cleave immunoglobulins as part of their survival strategy. Bacteria, parasites, mold/yeast and even digestive supplement enzymes damage immunoglobulins (IgA, IgG, IgM, IgE) making the results a combination of false-positive and false-negative responses to food.
Physiological concentrations of proinflammatory cytokines that occur after exposure to food act in the body to induce common symptoms of sickness, such as loss of appetite, sleepiness, withdrawal from normal social activities, fever, aching joints and fatigue. This syndrome is defined as Cytokine-induced sickness and is now recognized to be part of a response system that reorganizes the Neuro-Endo-Immune Supersystem response to the food. Cytokines convey to the body that an exposure to the food has occurred in the body, and this action of cytokines occurs via the traditional endocrine route via the blood or by direct neural transmission via the abdominal brain.
Immune cells release Mediators to inform the body of the exposure. The Immune Complexes (IgG, IgA, IgM) have been damaged making them respond either incorrectly or not at all. However the Mediators are being released, stimulating an inflammatory response. If you are having continued health problems the response is inappropriate to your situation.
There is a constant state of balanced chronic inflammation present in the gastrointestinal tract. This physiologic inflammation is essential for the maturing of the immune system and development of the normal lining of the intestinal mucosa. Mediators by design are meant to function with checks and balances to control the inflammation. Inflammation is needed for the normal repair process but should go away when the repair is done. Think of as a kitchen remodeling crew.
Food sensitivities are often dose-related. This means a small amount of food may not trigger the release of the mediators. However, when you eat 2 or 3 different foods more inflammatory mediators are released than anti-inflammatory mediators causing the balance to shift towards inflammation. In this case, the remodeling crew never goes away. They hang around the house for the never-ending remodeling.
