She is Webster Technique Certified, meaning to all those lovely pregnant women, she is specifically trained to gently adjust the pregnant woman to allow for optimal fetal positioning for baby's birth. The adjustment also assists with mom's annoying pregnancy aches and pains in a very gentle manner. It's a "two-fer!" Adjusting mom and baby can benefit everyone, even dad and the rest of the family when her hormones are "not quite" balanced.
A little more about the Webster Technique:
The Webster Technique is a specific chiropractic sacral analysis and diversified adjustment. The goal of the adjustment is to reduce the effects of sacral subluxation/ SI joint dysfunction. In so doing neuro-biomechanical function in the pelvis is facilitated.
It is proposed that sacral misalignment may cause the tightening and torsion of specific pelvic muscles and ligaments. It is these tense muscles and ligaments and their aberrant effect on the uterus which may prevent the baby from comfortably assuming the best possible position for birth.
Whether you plan on having a medicated or non-medicated hospital or home-birth, we can work with you to achieve optimal fetal positioning and even with adjusting of the newborn if latch is difficult during nursing.
Craniopathy is a gentle way of adjusting children and adults cranium or skull. Yes, the cranium has bones that move very slightly and it affects many mechanical and neurological aspects of life. Tempromandibular Joint Dysfunction (TMJ) is just one of many aspects that craniopathy can address.

Did you know?
Autoimmune diseases in general are more common in women and research suggests women's more complex hormonal systems, which become exaggerated during and after pregnancy, play a role in that.[1] [2]
Also, during the third trimester a pregnant woman becomes TH-2 dominant, then TH-1 dominant postpartum. Combined with the other risk factors listed above, these periods of polarized immune dominance can tip an immune system that's already on edge, thus triggering Hashimoto's. [3]
Wellness Alternatives specializes in supporting autoimmune conditions sparked by pregnancy. Autoimmune conditions consist of Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus, Graves Disease, etc.
